  • Holy ButterBall batman customShop Jackson unit.

how the fuck did an eliminator body get called a "butterbean"

I could care less it's out of my price range @ 3600.00, but all I wanna know is who was this unit made for and now for sale years later?

Yes I asked if they would take less....nope
I asked if there was a payment plan....nope
    I asked if there was a layaway...nope

Although I'm not really into the Collen/YamahaRBX bodystyle, I would buy it today if it was 2000 less..will it happen?....nope

LOL -- did anybody here own this thing?

EDIT: I NEED TO CLARIFY, THAT THE NOPE,NOPE,NOPE THING WAS A CUT AND PASTE from the other forum, I never approached the store myself, and assumed the other person DID call.

I got an email back from them today Andre.

They said someone ( they don't know who ) ordered it and didn't pay so that store bought it off Jackson. He said retail was over 6grand and they are gonna sell it for 3600. 30 day layaway option only no payment plan

when it sits in their place for a year and I see it for 2000, I'll sell my TBX/ELIMINATOR and 1 or 2 of my model series rightys and snatch it up if it goes that low and I'm still interested.

nobody but a LEFT HANDED jackson freak is gonna touch it. and you know how many left handers would never part with their precious Fender-Leftys for a Jackson....z.e.r.o.

it will be around for a while

I'd like to start a band with myself (white guy) on guitar, a right-handed black bass player playing this bass upside-down, and a black drummer.

The band would of course be called "XIRDNEH".

        Any interest?

          True words spoken, Mike.

To be honest. How many lefties custom shop Jackson's are sold in a year or two .... so I'm pretty sure they shop already got a killer deal on the bass from Jackson cause they have to know it will sit in their shop for awhile.

Good luck my friend. Be patient and sure ... very nice bass!
