Jackson Futura 5 Reverse!!!!

Hey guys this is my first post and I'm the proud new owner of a white futura ex with EMGs so I thought that I'd sign up here. I'll post a pic of my bass later but I came across this jem on the 'bay' and thought I'd share.

IMO the opposite sharks look off balance... otherwise that looks sweet!!!

that thing was on my watchlist the very hour it hit ebay...

I think it is pretty weird with those flip-flop inlays...yuk
and it has a yukky price to match..

I guess theres no accounting for taste but it's a custom job so to each his own. I dont like the opposing inlays either and have never been a fan of the upside down inlays with the reverse headstock. I do really like it otherwise though. That thing just looks metal as hell. I'd love to have a nice Jackson neck through though but have never had the money. Looks like the futura would be my only option but thats cool because I like them.

I would never say the futura is your only choice of nice USA basses because your righthanded. There's a member here who "had" ( may still have ) a nice NT 3b style silver SanDimas USA unit that he was trying to sell for under a grand. I already had a few NT Charvel 3b's and never needed to invest a lot in a USA or CS bass that was essentially the same bag of parts.

I'm a lefty and there have been a few very expensive lefty USA's out there, but 3grand is just crazy unless I had it made to the way I wanted it.
