well after talking to the guy a while, he said it was used for a long time has the typical nicks and scratches under the fur and like any other Charvel never had a problem with it. The fur was added as part of his speaking the word about breast cancer.

Here's a picture I asked him to take before he boxed it up as I told him to the neck off to save the ship costs and he already cut 2 of the strings off. AND I'M LEAVING THE FUR ON IT as a novelty !!!

I'm still the same as I was 25 years ago, so all the spandex and weird looking shoes still fits. I'll wear the shit and have someone take a couple pics... ( remember i'm 52 ), so I'm not about to go and look like a retard-dork on stage unless the band is doing some wild costume party, but a few drinks later in the comfort of my own house...you never know.

the control cover is there just no screws for it.

anyway the glue is all dried out so I'll find my 3M spray and get it back on. OR, If I can find a product that will take the old glue off without destroying the finish I actually may just take the fur off since I thought it was black and it is really blue

either way I'll put it together and jam it in a video this weekend.

thanks Rob, I may peel it off AFTER the novelty of the fur is gone. I wouldn't do that to one of my stage basses unless I knew I needed something crazy like that for a party. I have a spare lefty model2 that I don't use the fur would get put on if that day arrives. Until then it wil be a cool wall hanger to jam on at home.
