But while that was new at the time. I was diggin' on the rythm section Jim Ayoub(drums) and Paul Hardwood(bass) of Frank Marino and Mahogony Rush. I was full on Frank Marino right before the first VH record..shit back in late '77 / early '78. I was just strating High School.

Guys have you've heard (Carcass-Arch Enemy) Mike Amott's other band Spiritual Beggars. He's been doing it since '95 or so. Total GFR, 70's worship. Very amazing really!!!

Mahogonay Rush Fukin Rules! Damn Bill you must be as old as me! Lol And I agree about a pick. I started with a pick (in the thrash 90's), switch to finger playing and now I use both! I love the attack of a pick but love the freedom with my fingers1
actually I think bassplayers in general unless your the leader, singer, wrote every song or doing something weird or pornographic is always lost in the mix.
