it would be fun to have a lava again, but it would do what the others do at the house -- sit in the cases. for the small amount of noodling I do on them to check batteries and tuning, naw I'll keep looking for more leftys and if one comes around then a righty or 2 will get sold off.

so im reviving this thread because someone on talkbass said did I want another tricolor?
sure why not, they didnt paint too many that way. he said the neck was firewood and i could have it for 100 bucks.
from the pics...ya it was....I told him to pull the tuners off of the neck and throw it in the garbage, so yet another parts bass to be put together with another spare neck.

            so now I'll have a 3b and 4b tricolor.

            .

and then there were 2. My other pointy neck is for a model2 body and it won't fit so the DuckBill got a chance to be on something.

i just put it together to make sure it worked....it does The bridge saddle screws are rusted so I have to put some WD40 on it before I can set the intonation and my goal will be to swap the neck from my white model4 put the duckbill on it and sell it.

there is someone on here who used to have these tricolor guitars, ( or maybe still does ) I don't remember who it is though.
