and as a side tidbit of trivia? they only made LEFTY b.o. futuras in 1994 ...lucky for me I found someone selling theirs because I'm sure they didnt make a lot of them.

I found a GroverJackson Standard ( jap futura with the 4knobs like the wingers )online that the guy has been trying to sell it for a year for 400. I told him a year ago what he actually had and if I ever saw it for the right price I would buy it...well 165+ a case was THE RIGHT PRICE.

well from the ebay pictures I "thought" it was maroon ..
nope kinda shifts from blueish purple to plum. I guess it is the way the light hits it. ugly but I never saw another so the

because it is as described and plays perfectly out of the box with crappy strings and cruddy frets. the preamp sounds like all my others. I'm gonna make a metal vid with it and post it around eventually. If they only made Grover branded in 93, then it has a leftover whatever neck on it because it is stamped 1991 and not painted the body color..who knows.
