  • Jackson Rhoads bass?

Has anyone ever seen a bass like this? Im very interested in it but I can't find any info on it. The seller states it has a ebony fret board and that it is a bolt on neck.

Didn't Dana Strum use to play a tiny V bass?

Honestly, that is a very odd looking piece.

That logo looks a lil screwy don't it? I guess someone could have ordered it the original Concorde logo yes?

The logo does seem a little wierd and the body has a slight cutaway to it that is not on the RR guitars. Also the color on the head stock doesn't seem to match with the body but if it is legitimate I would hate to pass on it. Even if it is pink!

I'd ask for a serial number. I'm not familiar with basses, but the body shape seems strange to me as well.
          96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

I just realized in his ad he never really says that it is a Custom Jackson bass. He calls it a Custom Rhoads bass. It must be a pieced together bass from other parts. http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/msg/4463902098.html

                1. The other pictures make it look a little less odd. Thanks for posting.
                2. isn't that what you find on alibaba -- 'we make custom shop' to your specs.

That's an amazing bass. I wonder whether they still make Custom Shop basses nowadays? I mean is there a special Jackson order form for custom basses?
