according to the 1989 japanese catalog it should be silver, but not any more like all the whites that turned to yellowish.
It is only rare to the USA market who never got a 3b with a finned neck, just a little special.

I had one of the 575 basses with a similar but more greenish finish, It was awesome but I had to endure random devil horn signs when I went to the blues jam, lol. I survived though

This is the one that was on Reverb recently? How was shipping from Russia? Any issues with CITES and the RW board? I only ask cause quite a few Japan only market guitars come up for sale from them.

yes it was entrails, he took a best offer which was more than reasonable after i chatted with him for a couple days, but the 200 bucks shipping turned the bass into a keeper.

and nope all the custom forms were filled out correctly on his end and it only took 8 days to get to me in PA - east coast

he also has this Japan market Futura V/GroverJackson with a p-p setup, but not for sale.

That's awesome, glad to hear it! I've stayed away from buying from the Russian shops on reverb for that reason but this definitely makes me more confident.
