Battery cover swapout

I've noticed some Jackson basses like the JS3VQ have the screw type battery rounded cover, and others like the CBXNT have the proper rectangular battery clip (no need for a screwdriver to change the battery). Are these easily swappable? In other words, if I get a JS3VQ and a battery clip, will the clip fit?
