So, to answer that without seeing the images...
If it is a 3B, it is a 1988.

The country of origin and its value are things that are easily found online.
Check your favorite 'sell stuff' website, to get in idea of what they sell for.

I have 2 that I bought around 10 years ago for around $400.00 each. they were made in Japan. not sure of year date by serial #

Is the toggle under or over the knobs? That narrows down year.

c7 1987
c6 1986
