Yes. The SVT 2 Pro is super clean..very warm tone. And very expensive, but a GREAT amp. Also VERY heavy to move. But I know it's the only amp I'll ever own. The tubes have lasted a long time, and if I ever have to replace them, it has it's own biasing meters built into the amp. So I don't have to take it to a tech to re-do the biasing. It's EQ section is also great...footswitchable.

Don't worry about being a poor student. I was a poor student too. But, thanks to the education I got, I now can afford great gear. Hang in there, it will pay off.

Just picked up a brand new Fender Geddy Lee J-Bass. Looks and sounds killer! I heard the neck was really thin and you either love it or hate it...........I love it, fits perfectly! Very easy to reach all frets. Fit and finish is awesome, good weight and balance.

Awesome. The Geddy Signature bass is a GREAT bass. I have a Marcus Miller Sig Jazz, and it rivals any Jazz bass out there. The Geddy is the same way!

cool! When I saw the Geddy sig, I was going to ask if anyone had checked out the Miller sig. More than I can justify spending on a bass, but I love the look of them. Can't beat a nice Jazz bass. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
