Model 4B

I just got scans of a 1988 Charvel catalog ( http://samun.1g.fi/kuvat/charvel_88_catalog/ ), and it lists 4 Model series basses. Now, while my Rainbow Crackle Model series bass obviously isn't a '88, since according to the catalog that finish wasn't available that year, it does have the same exact specs as the 4B on the catalog (excluding the through neck, of course).

Can you guys shed any light on this?

well, according to that scan, the 4B is a bolt-on version of the 3B, so I guess you have a 4B

Yeah, but what's bugging me is the absence of Rainbow Crackle in that catalog. Hell, I didn't even know there WAS a 4B before I got my hands on those scans. I'm confused. [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]
