17020 - Charvel USA Custom Bass - ZZ Top replica..

This is a rare 5 digit serialized Charvel Telly bass. Came with WO and shipping docs, but OHSC is missing. Beautiful old Charvel but unfortunately haven't gotten a chance to play it yet cause the neck is still recovering from shipping.
This bass is almost identical to Dusty Hill's Charvel bass and being a huge ZZ Top fan that connection is very cool. Pics below.

Thanks for the kind comments. Here is a pic of this bass when it was at the factory. I believe this came from a Charvel photo book or something.


I'm astonished by the quality of woods they used back then. They ReSoNaTe-_-`'-...
The whole guitar is flame maple so they didn't think about production costs that much.
