USA or Japan?

Hi guys,

I've just bought a Jackson Bass guitar, 4 strings, EMG pickups, neck thru, red. On the truss rod cover, there's a Kip Winger signature.

Here's the weird bit: there's no "Made in USA" or "Made in Japan" marks or anything. The Serial Number is: J101018. Can anyone help me identify this bass?

Probably... I knew the one here was not made in USA, but the quality is so good.

Probably, but it is found under the "Jackson Pro" chapter in the 1990-1991 catalogue. So that's a bit weird...
