Same old question, whaddya know about this bass?

Hi guys, I've had this bass for 10+ years, bought used in a guitar shop in Vancouver, BC when we lived there - back in the UK now.
Neck plate serial 257385 with a Fort Worth PO Box address. Bit of buckle rash on the back, but other than that, good condition, nice neck and plays lovely.
History, value?

Model is a 1B somewhere between 1986 and 1989.
