Distinction between Kelly models

I've heard of the KB1 and KBX models, but I've seen at least three different kinds. One of them has the P/J pickup config and dot inlays; another (the one I have) has a P/J config with sharkfin inlays; and the other has the active preamp and sharkfin inlays. I know the last one is a KBX, and one of the other two (possibly both) is a KB1, but I'm not sure. Can anyone clarify?
