Okay time to open a thread with some J/C Basses porn. Sure that's a little bragging but these great basses deserve it.

    Wow, Thunderbird Pros

I had a Winger - shoulda kept it

All I got right now with a Kahler is my Concert V Pro

I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

hey Andre, you beat me to the "picture punch"---lol I never thought of putting a t-bird white guard on mine, and ALWAYS wondered what it would look like --- THANK YOU for the pic, that looks totally WEIRD AND BEAUTIFUL !!!! ---someday, I will have another Black TBX, and post a "family" pic like you have. I saw your post in the other thread--congrats on you winning the Green one. for now I will just show another pic of my ALL BLACK one, next to my sunburst...lol
I would have bought that green one, but I ALWAYS WANTED A PAIR OF BLACK TBX's -- eh, maybe in the future, someone who is holding on to their black one now, will sell it in the future, and I can have a "PAIR OF ACES" ( 2 black ones ).

p.s. was that white guard and rod cover done by you?

p.p.s you ever see this one? http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35983 I messaged the guy to see if he wanted to sell it if he still had it ..etc, but no reply.

The white guard came with the bass and it's original. The rod cover was added by myself exchanging with the original black cover saying 'TBX'. I thought that one makes the looks even cooler.

Yes i already recognized that tread. I remember that one being on ebay. Unfortuantely at this time I couldn't persuade the seller to ship international.

If I remember correct it had a dirt cheap BIN compared to what i paid for the 'Greenie'. But anyway ... I'm a happy camper now.

original white guard, wow thats totally awesome I never had that option when I bought mine out of the catalog, or I would have FOR SURE ( NO I'm not gonna add the white pickguard now, I'll just pay you 3 grand for yours ) --overnight shipping included right?...hehehe and the rodcover doesn't have to say TBX for anyone to know what this guitar is..hehhe.

ok thanks Andre, but I STILL wish someone somewhere could tell me ( and you ) how many of those TBX's were made....
