wonderful Charvel 1B bass find at music-go-round 12-31-08

hey, anyone want a nice 1B black and maple?

That's cool...but I don't think I can bring myself to buy another Strat-shaped bass, as much as I love my 3B. I wish I were more comfortable with them since I think they look and feel killer, but hanging on a strap, I can't get them to sit still, you know?

I've been after a Cahrvel or Jackson bass for a while but they rarely appear over here in the UK. I bought an Indie bass in the end on boxing day (and it's great) but I have sent a message to see what shipping to the UK would be.

Exactly. I've been thinking about doing that for a while (before I got my 3B back) because theoretically, it would make it balance like an Explorer or T-bird. I tried it on my BTB and it made the neck dive and instability worse (probably because it is a 35" 24 fret bass), so I've been unsure as to whether or not I should try it on the Charvel.

Hell, Lemmy holds all his basses with the strap pin on the back of the neck joint.

yep for the ones that are already on the horn, I just add another where the neckplate is ( or isn't ).

well there is also a RED 1B listed on ebay this week, and I hope someone here from the JCF get's it.

same scenario as the black one. I already have one, and I don't need 2 of them...good luck people!!!
