  • Help Identify my bass

Ok a few days ago i bought this bass from an estate sale for $150.

I would really like to know more about it such as its year or production and model type, and if i got a good deal on or it or i was ripped off.

    Any comments are greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

    It appears to be a 2000 C5P.

The Blue Book of electric guitars says it retailed for $745.00.
It appears to be in great shape...I think you got a good deal on it....Congrats!

Wow!! Cant believe it! The guitar is in really good shape. The only major problems are that the frets and fretboard are very dirty. I was excited to play it so i just slapped on some new strings before i hardcore cleaned it.

Too bad i dont have a bass amp

Go get that amp!.....or a Bass Pod w/headphones...or just go to your local music store to "test drive" your future amp. You'll love the thunder from the B string.

ya 150 for a C5A, geez I would have bought that even if someone took a can of krylon and multistriped the body for that price---great SCORE

and the bonus is it is NOT a sunburst ( I'm partial to solid colors )

As much as i would like an amp i cant afford it. I spent that last $150 in my bank account on this guitar. I have a very crappy job and get paid crap (walmart).

thanks but they never revised the entry--- haha it's wrong, the EMGs are not humbuckers they are 35P4, and 35J in square covers, and no pics---damn....thats too bad. AND I LOVE the way it describes it as "hourglass" shaped

actually I don't need a pic to know what it is, since I have one

I just wanted to see if they had ever revised the editions with a pic, or changed it to EMG 35P4 but...nope
