    does GAS ever end????

Hey GANG, I bought a righthander 2b in white to match my white lefty 2b this weekend with a chansaw case, as I was getting sick of seeing my black righty 2b next to my white lefty 2b.

so now I will have a true set of siamese twins, and not a set of ying-yang siamese twins ( black + white )

    well.....the price was right

once I get it I'll take a couple REAL pics.

Matt, thanks. There's a blue 2b on ebay but I was already outbid, and it has a few days to go and it is already up to 180.xx, and I'm done buying for a while.

if that guy on ebay who has relisted his LavaCrackle 3 times already didn't want 450.00 for his 4B, I would buy it tomorrow and sell my C.A.R. 4B.

I now have just TOOOOO many basses, and soon you may see a couple of my spare "B" series basses going up for sale somewhere

the others are a couple Dillions, and Epibird, and a older Jazzclone.

in the hey-day of me playing gigs all month, I never had more than 4 at one time, now I play less, and have 3 times that many -- I suppose it is now for "collectible" purposes.

you know what's funny, I still have not reached the 2 grand limit on buying 80's b series yet with 7 purchases.

if the lava 4b was 100 cheaper, I would sell off my red 1b to make up the difference since it don't have an emg in it.

the only thing that went up was my insurance a few dollars to cover the extra instruments.

it's a collection and fortunately, I don't have to deal with them like the poor guitarists out here ( and everywhere ), that have to deal with a lot more pricey guitars to fill up their jam rooms

man Rob you DO want that 2b body don't you?

I'm still thinking about your reverse righty neck to drop on my lefty 2b so I can play inverted with the headstock pointing down like they usually do when the things are played normally.
for that LAVACrackle I was thinking more of the 4b bolt on body, so I could Frankenstein it and throw my 1b maple board neck on it since I have that red 1b that sits in the case.

                    ya let's FIGHT!!!!

fight about the fact that there is yet ANOTHER 80's Concert online this week for ---GULP 700.00 start price--the typical 1,2b basses, and that damn crackle 4b is over 550.00. MAN I WOULD LOVE to find out who is paying 600 bucks or more for a 4b crackle....

a friend said there is a white 2b on ebay....there is BUT his price with shipping would be around 350.00 with the case he is pffering.

                    http://cgi.ebay.com/80s-CHARVEL-4-String-BASS-HSC-Fort-Worth-TX-USA_W0QQitemZ200328194692QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar ?hash=item200328194692&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkpa rms=66%3A2|65%3A1|39%3A1|240%3A1318

and that's a 100 more than what I paid for the white 2b in a chainsaw case I just bought last week.

It arrived today at the house just as I was leaving, so I didnt even have a chance to check it out yet and post a review. I'll toss some pics online tonight or tomorrow with a "YAY or NAY".

ok the YING-YANG Siamese twins have been separated finally.

because now I have a set of Siamese IDENTICAL twins. Just like being a GEMINI......twins forever!!!

p.s. the yellowing of the white paint is almost identical to the lefty version.. I guess age is important, and storage was not, since these both came from different people and the yellowing is similar.

                          ya toneM,

I'm getting as bad as some of you guitar players with the:

"hmm, it's Monday, which one shall I jam on today" attitude

                          or,

the cheapness of the whole "model B series" has got the better of me once again since I already had that white lefty.

I think I would have stopped at 3 of them IF they all sounded the same, but just like an identical guitar....they don't and all sound different.
