sorry bob, am i boring you? ( the sleepy gremlin!)lol i got the nut off ebay years ago. the bridge and neck was on a different body and i decided to use a 2b body i have with emgs in it.

What were the obsticals in the transition ? Was the nut a good fit ?

the only problems, so far, are the neck was a different scale lenth and the nut i filed my own slots for the smaller strings. scale lenth wasn't much of a problem sinc i had to change the bridge anyway.

oh now I'm really dying to see it...the old 8 string Kramers were the shit, but a 2b in the same config...well...uh....wow!!!

an old aria 70's p bass copy modified by myself and my dad. Wait 'til you see the headstock! But you can't laugh! IT needs a fret job though.this just to see if i want to buy a good one. lol

Huh? Hamer made 8- and 12-string basses in the late '70s. It's just high octave strings added.
