Excellent pick El Mariachi. I've a SD Soloist with same pickup config. Interested in your thoughts re HotRails. I have BKP VHII in the bridge and looking to replace the single coils.

Hey '59 Lemondrop!

The Rails are cool. They've always just sort of been my standard replacement for a single slot. I've not tried many "rail" pickups other than this one. I find it does what I want for the most part, which is to thicken up the sound and make it more comparable to the bridge pickup. It's a little muddy in the neck, but it's tolerable.
