  • Look what walked thru my door

Is this a good find? A friend of mine brought this over last night and he's selling it for the original owner in which he bought in '88 or '89. She's in pretty in pretty good shape for being 20 yrs old except for some of the hardware could use some tlc. The frets are in good shape also. Let me know what you think, serial #6104.

With that serial number it's from 87-89, probably 89. Neat guitar. Take the JT-6 off and give it a WD-40 bath, should clean it up alot.

Is that a Super Distortion in the bridge? With the way the pole pieces are tarnished it actually looks like an old Schaller pup, but that would be a pretty uncommon swap I would think.

Wow! Nice find. I'd chuck that JT6 and put an OFR on it, clean it up and rock the f&%k out!

Agreed. That Floyd looks like it's decomposing.

That is SOOOOOO sweet. I would pay BIG $$$ for it in a heart beat. I love Jackson Strats.

I love those old Jackson strats! I do have an issue with that graphic, however. The shadow on that moon is the wrong shape for a lunar phase, and looks more like a lunar eclipse. However, you can see from the planet's illumination that the sun is in the wrong position for a lunar eclipse.

I'd be all over that like a fat kid on a bowl of ice cream.

                  Nice guitar. How much $$$?

If you have the cash, I'd say get a new Floyd Rose and sell that old one cheap on ebay.

Thanks for all the comments and I agree that she definitely needs a OFR but also add D-tuna and Tremol-no. I don't know what kind of pu but I'll find out and change if needed.
I'll post again when I'm finished bringing her up to snuff.
