Black or Blue Ghost Flames?

I love Black Ghost Flames. It's pretty much my favorite finish.



I've never seen Blue Ghost Flames in person. So, I don't know. It looks pretty good in the "marketing" photos, but... marketing photos lie.

I dont think Black Ghost works but Ive never seen one up close. Blue certainly does. So does Green and Red.
But black with more substantial flames, like solid red with gold outlines would work very nicely.
If it was a custom of course.

The blue is a little more subtle than the black I think. Also a little harder to find in SL1 finish (at least I don't think it was a stock color option - only have seen the black flames for SL1s) But, I like them both and have blue only because of chance.. I might get an SL2 someday in green flames.

They used to... Unfortunately this finish is no longer available on a Soloist (green ghost flames, too) except through the Custom Shop.

RR666: I have a SL2H in Blue Ghost Flame... I would say maltomario's pic up there is very representative of what a Blue Ghost Flame looks like in person.

My SL2H is almost exactly like that, except it has a neck humbucker of course
