There was a white CS tele with gold hardware, 3 humbuckers, a floyd and red binding all the way round.....that is what i want....essentially a telecaster version of a kramer sambora.....speaking of which, can the custom shop do a white dinky, with gold hardware ,3 gold poled humbuckers, a maple board ,and star inlays?
      1995ish Charvel strat copy
      Blue Bengal DK2M HSS
a few others i'd rather not mention
Nigel Tufnel: (holding up a guitar) The sustain, listen to it.
Marty DiBergi: I don't hear anything.

Nigel Tufnel: Well you would though, if it were playing.

How hard is it to remove the pickups and put in passives?!?

It's not just a case of swapping them out. You'd need to replace ALL the electronics, and after that, you've got a gaping hole in the body were the battery pack used to be!

my jackson wishlist is VERY simple. return the price list to the 2003 range. USA's wih graphics priced around 1400. solid colors around 1200. imports below 1000 (many below 800). do that and i'll be mega happy. forget all these "ideas" for production models that are clearly custom shop guitars....just work to get the guitars back into people's hands!!!!
                    GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

                    and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

...No, that's not the same as a KV2T. Rather, this would apply the SL2H-MAH formula to the current KV2. Floyd, pointyhead, regular sharkfins, flametop, but with a mahogany neck and body. Preferably with real jumbo frets, too. Not "medium" jumbos.

Heck, while they're at it, maybe they should do KE2-MAH and RR1-MAH versions, too.
                      I would also like a KV2-MAH

You know if they did it, they'd just put the usual JB and a Jazz in there anyway, and everyone would end up swapping them out.

Yeah - how about not using the most generic pickup combination in the world on every guitar? How about Distortion - '59, how about some friggin' Dimarzios?

I haven't read these posts, so forgive me for repeating what has probably been said already...

A Jackson Explorer with block MOP inlays, none recessed Floyd, decent Seymour Duncans (two humbuckers, though not quite sure which), in white.

You ARE aware that in 2003 Jackson was far from turning a profit, right??

You´re essentially saying: go bankrupt within 2 years so I can have the guitar I want cheaper
