  • A seven string neck through with a non recessed floyd and 24 frets. The non-recessed floyd and neck through construction, I can live without, but make it a 24 fret.

However, if we want to get fancy, we can make a shortscale Kelly 7 with a non recessed floyd, a deeper cutaway, carved heel, reverse sharkies and a HSH config, but that's being greedy.

My wish would be a neck thru PC1 style guitar. A reverse headstock might be cool too. Au Natural would be my color of choice as well.

Oh yeah, and a line of non recessed floyd models.

        • Hey now, that MarkD had a GREAT IDEA! I can agree with that too. Man, I tell ya It just doesnt seem like that long ago when I could buy a brand new trans flame USA soloist for $1200. I bought 3 of them new for that price about 7-8 years ago. same guitar is $2000 now. thats a helluva increase in a short time.

              • You guys are lucky. If I want to buy a brand new Jackson USA model (soloist for example) here in Canada from an authorized local dealer, I get to pay around $2800+tax which brings me to around $3100+. I'd kill for 2003 prices haha. At those rates I would have already ordered two customs, but I can't pay $5000+ for my custom!

My KV2T is 25.5" scale. I bought it from a member here who is a collector.

I think there was only like 12 or so made. They were always meant to be short scale, but the first batch got the 25.5" scale by accident.

Popular enough. Their popularity went down once Nu-Metal went away, but there still seems to be a market for them. The bands using them aren't as popular, so I guess that's why you don't see as many as you would before. Many guys just tune their sixes down to B instead, so it seems. Anyway, so long as it gets the job done, I say!

                        • Just a regular SL2H, but with a quilted maple top and reverse headstock/sharkfins. Very simple, and very nice.

Star!! Hell Ya!! I still can't under stand why J/C guitar isn't making them as a standard line. Isn't Star body a Jackson/Charvel's Original design?
