    old electronics info needed ...

    I have an '88 custom Soloist.
    My guitar has passive p.u with the mid-boost option (mini switch). Does anybody remember how that was identified by Jackson back then? I'm thinking it was like J1200 or some letter/number ID but for the life of me I cannot remember.

    It's the JE-1200. You can find an old Jackson electronics user guide scan at Henrik's site...

        Well...wait a sec. If there's a mini switch, it's not likely the JE-1200 mid boost. There was also the JE-1000 and the JE-1500 which used the mini toggle. Can you describe it more specifically?
