  • Used Soloist at Guitar Center

    Am I missing something or is this an insane price on what has to be a low mileage "used" SL2H in absynthe frost? Scroll down about halfway from the top of the page. (Its described as the Amethyst Frost Dinky)

    Maybe I just haven't paid attention to the used market or maybe it has no case, etc....

    Save even more on guitars, basses, drums, pro audio and accessories. Used musical instruments bought and sold daily so check back often.

    I would think that's a fair price even without a case. I don't think a late model soloist of any condition is worth more than $1k.

            That's an ace price by UK standards. Bloody lucky so and sos.

            That would go for $1000 in the UK easily. Somebody buy it for me.

              That one has been taunting me for a while now, along with a few others that seem mispriced.

              It has indeed been sitting for a bit. Might be able to wheel & deal with them a little on it.

                I scored my 2000 Soloist fr around that price a few months ago. Patience and quick calls are the key my friend.

                      Why would Duncans not make it a Dinky? A Dinky = bolt-on neck. A Soloist = neck-thru body.

                        so what was it priced at???

                        and this brings up a good point, why is it that nearly every guitar on ebay they want a fortune for??? its hard to find good deals. I agree with Grant Turk. he is right, any used soloist late model, from about 1999 and newer isnt worth more than a $1000 used. but people have them priced for twice that. even $1500 is way too much IMO.

                          Me = idiot I guess?

                          Ha ha, for some reason looking at the tiny photo I assumed it was a 2 hum soloist with the SD's in it and I thought new Dinky's (given that A/F is a relatively new color) came stock with EMGs over SD's?

                          You couldn't tell it was a bolt-on from the photo. At least I couldn't.

                            It was $799

                            There's the exact same used model/color on Ebay right now with a BIN of $1,799.
