End of November, I'll have enough dough saved to buy a new USA Jackson. I've already decided I don't want an RR1 or KV2 (the body tilts over), nor do I want a trans finish either. I was gonna go for a used USA, but all the one's I'm interested in are gone. Pickups don't matter because I have a pair of EMG's on their way. Suggestions please.

My KV2 doesnt, thats for sure. Perfectly balanced.

No, Vs and Kellys tend to tilt out and away from your body.

I havent noticed that either. With the KV2 I mean anyway.

If you are looking for a traditional body style you might as well go with a Soloist. The DK1 is nice as well and you wouldn't have to swap out the pups. If you aren't set on EMG's take a look at the PC1. Arguably one of the best Jackson's out there.

Yep, that's what I meant.

I can kind of understand what you mean due to how the strap attaches to the body but I've never had a problem with it and its the guitar I play most live. I look more at the fret markers than the fretboard itself though.

I would still recommend a KV2 but you cant go wrong with a Soloist.

I never really noticed playing on my friends custom RR.

It don't really notice it playing my RR1T, but I did with my old Kelly XLR.

Rhoads do not have an upper bout for your gut to push on. SG's do and I loved mine but got rid of it for that reason.
