New limited run of PC1's for 2010 NAMM painted by Phil himself!
Geez, that's just plain fugly. Mike Kotzen was bragging to me and Ron about these back when we had the factory tour. The way he was going on about them, they were going to be the coolest thing ever. Not even close.
For all the people out there that like the guitar minus the paint just might be able to pick one up cheaper if they don't sell worth a crap. Just a thought.
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.
They're not THAT bad. I've seen worse. The H/S config is a great idea, since the middle pickup on a PC1 is RIGHT in the way and can't be lowered (without pulling it out and seeing what's underneath, anyway).
What I just can not figure out is given the many one off and super cool PC1's that have been made over the years (just ask Brooks) the Custom Shop has Phil making those as an anniversary edition?
Makes no sense when you consider the alternatives they had.....
jackson pc-1 chameleon
charvel model 4
prs ce-24 emerald green

If the body was ready for my CS PC1, I hope they got Phil to sign it and put it far away before he started throwing that paint around! Waiting for the end of the month for my production solar!
I would have to agree about doing something better for an anniversary, but I can also see them doing a paint splatter, very 80ish with the neons and such. Then again I love neon, but for 5k to 6k, you could spec out one hell of a CS guitar!! If you don't mind the wait!
VIVA LA NEON! VIVA LA BLACK LIGHTS! VIVA LA 80'S!!
You paid for Platinum..But you're gonna get Gold! - horns666
