I think it's the best balanced guitar I have played.Sitting it sets up perfect, but standing it sits in a great "zone" too...I don't have a new WR1, but I have an original and a custon shop and both are 2 of the best guitars I have ever touched.You won't regret gettng it...My only concern about the new ones would be the alder body.I don't get on with them too much, but ervyone may feel different...

Seriously man, if your goign to be afraid if dinging it, dont buy it. it will collect dust with your SL1. you really need to play them, they are built to play not to rub witth a diaper. play that SL1, if you ding it, life goes on. I do not abuse my guitars, but I play them. I dont freak if I get a ding or a belt scratch. I am careful, but I dont sit and worry aobut every little thing that could happen. go play it. seriously. go play that guitar. its like fruit rotting on the vine.

well i just made a deal on a model 4m, would love to get a wr1 but i just dont think i would do it any justice by letting it sit.just like the sl1, so for now while there around i am buying up some model series guitars, but hopefully sooner than never i will get a wr1 thanks for everybodys input.

I used to let my RR1 just sit there as well... for fear of screwing up something on it. But once I got my SL2H, I got over that, and play both regularly now.

Definitely play your USA Jacksons... it's quite a treat

the factory set up was shit so I straightened the neck, lowered the action. Now it's badass. I play in d standard I don't want to go through having to set up the guitar again so right now i'm stuck. Maybe someday it will see some action but it's black and the slightest pick scratches show up no matter how hard you try to not scratch it. I now polish will take them out, i'm just paranoid.

well i went off the deep end yesterday,not only did i get a brand new usa coming my way,got two!! a black rr1, and a chameleon pc1.well the pc1 my dad ordered. heard the pc1's are the the shit can any one back that for me? also dose the rr have the same neck as my sl1? to lazy right now to look it up. one of thease days i will drag out all my j/c guitars take some pictures so you guys dont think i'am blowing smoke. as for not going for the wr1 just to many fins to ding.so the rr will be used for specal shows and hanging out under the bed.as for the sl1 its about to get is cherry poped!!!
