  • NGD: CS Soloist J7514

So today, after 11 months and 30 days I received my first Jackson Custom Shop Soloist. It's loosely based around the Snowblind Soloist run they did at Namm 2007, the main changes being it's String-thru (Tone Pros bridge) and Seymour Duncan Blackouts for both pickups. I'm a believer in the philosophy of more wood = more tone, so I have the minimum amount of wood routed as possible, so no battery box. It's fuckin incredible! Everything about the guitar is perfect! Getting it setup and restrung tomorrow night.

Huge shout out to Nick from Piney Hills Music, Brian McDonald and Chris Cannella, and of course the dudes from the CS!

Sorry for the some what mediocre pictures, I only had a moment to take them and the lighting wasn't very good. I'm going to try and take better pics tomorrow outside (weather permitting of course) but for now here as some pics:

Nice guitar. Dig the old school logo!

What did you put on your order/spec sheet under logo in order to specify that they use that particular style?

haha it does look abnormally large in the photos. It's just the standard Soloist profile.

I'm not sure if this exactly right but it says "Jackson Nineties" on the spec sheet. I didn't actually spec it myself, Brian McDonald from Jackson was kind enough to do most of the spec sheet for me. Hope that helps

Pretty funny. I specced "Jackson Nineties" on my CS KV order form and they put the wrong logo on. Had to send the guitar back to have the correct logo put on.

Wish they had distinct names for each logo type. LOL

                  Congrats on the new guitar
