Just hooked up with Matt at Matt's Music and ordered an Adrian Smith model (maple board/black pickguard) as well as a custom shop Rhoads.

The wait is going to be excruciating.

Custom Features:
turqoise/light blue quilt top with black bevels
reverse matching headstock
black binding on neck and headstock
rear-loaded electronics
abalone sharkfin inlays and logo
unpainted/oiled neck
24-frets
Gold hardware

Non-custom features will be:
ebony fretboard
alder body
recessed OFR
jumbo frets.
It will have the standard electronics layout - volume, volume, tone, 3-way - just rear-loaded.
Pickups: Duncan Custom in the bridge, Duncan Jazz in the neck. (black with gold pickup rings)

The color for the quilt-top / bevels will match this: (which isn't mine...)

I'm in the same position, Ordering a CS soloist with a mahogany body, still deciding if I want a maple or mahogany neck, and between EMG 81x/85x pickups and SD Custom/Jazz... I don't know whats worse, the decisions or the wait after you've made them lol...

I've been waiting 8 months for my lefty Adrian Smith version. New ETA is end of March and I ordered it July 09.
