Looks like an Ontario Jackson "Vintage Style" strat with a JT6. Love those guitars! What are they asking for it?

It's an '87 or '88 Ontario-era strat. The price seems a bit high, to me. Nice guitar, though.

That's not a bad starting point for a GC price. You get to play it first, beat em down a bit maybe, and get a free setup and fresh strings outta em. These are Rodney Dangerfield guitar IMHO...basically the same as a 1986 Charvel pointy, but people only want to pay $600 or so for em. $1000 today is a little over $500 in 1987 dollars!

Still, 6 or 7 for an Ontario Jackson is the going rate, one can add however much for the finish, fretboard & rev head, I'd say try to get it closer to 8 or 9 bills.

I'll drive to Texas through this blizzard right now if it can be had for $600!

It's got several things going for it...reverse headstock, maple board, cool graphic. The JT6 is what it is. Yeah go for 9 bills. I got a plane jane black one for $500 not too long ago, but paid $1000 for an exceptional one.

                    87-88 by the serial number.
