I don't know the back story, I guess maybe Bill's not the best at getting his stuff mass produced? Not sure why though. Murphy's law maybe?

Neck thru design, Original Floyd, ebony board...definitely a starter guitar!

          This one really looks killer!

Andy K - I think you're misinterpreting those quotes. He's talking about how he held it back, until he found someone who could manufacturer it to his high design standards. In doing so, he shopped it around to several manufacturers. Some liked the design, but ripped it off instead of buying it from him. So others actually brought the flip-lock to market first with cheapo copies. Only their units were built to crappy standards. As a result, his (the original design) died when he did finally release it, because the other manufacturers created the perception with guitarists that it just didn't work. But his design does, and very well.

I guess, otherwise he would see a current need for a cool finger tite locking nut, and start making them again! With the magic of the internet, I bet he would sell a ton of those, if they really work.

You've been holding out on us. Very cool guitar. Looks like you took great care of her to be 23+ years old.

I have a Tremol-No on my Charvel - works great and really improves tone and feel. Get one!

That is a sweet old-school Jackson!

Needs a Budman oversize ring IMO but wow, that is friggin' sharp, man!

                              Amazing axe!
Congrats on bringing her out of the case.
Now, let's start working on some buckle rash so you have to sell her.

That's awesome! I always thought the Bill Edwards Finger-Tite nut was a cool idea back in the day.
