Hott gee-tar man... I'd like to come across something like that, problem is though, there are no Jackson dealers (or any shop worth a damn really) anywhere near me, so I have had to ebay-score pretty much all my finds. Although, now that I've found this forum, I've got Matt's, Piney Hills, and the classifieds, so that's a plus!!Wish I could add Pics to this thing!!

I have one of the Slime Green Shannon Soloists. There were 6 made as far as I know and at one time Brett owned at least 4 of them! Thats who I bought mine from. I also have one in BGF. The only thing that I don't like about them is the stock bridge pickup which is a Duncan Pearly Gates. Its pretty weak for a bridge pickup and perhaps thats why some may find it dead sounding (?), I dunno. Anyway, my Slime Green is still stock but my BGF Shannon bridge pickup has been swapped out for a Dimarzio Super II
Oh, and btw I asked at NAMM a couple years back why the Pearly Gates was used in these and Mike Shannon said the pickup choice was actually Donny Wade's idea at the time, not his.Rudy

I'm remembering now that they were offered with nickel hardware, which made no sense since Jacksons never had nickel hardware!
Where were these made - at Fender? They weren't made in San Dimas / Glendora, were they? I remember talking to Tim in the custom shop, not sure where they were though. That was 12 years back!'09 Charvel San Dimas USA

I bought mine from Brett a few years back and at one point I saw another Slime Green Shannon Soloist up on E-Bay and if I remember correctly the seller started the bidding at around $1800. That was before the economy took a dive and I don't remember if it sold or not.
These were built around 1997-98 (I'd have to look on the hang tag) so it makes them Ontario pieces. I also remember something about one Orange Sherbert Shannon Soloist being built but have never seen it. Most of them were black or BGF.Rudy

There was also the one-hum '97 NAMM model (some kind of proto?) that Dave (Moshwitz) owns/owned.
Supposedly the first Shannon proto was one in sherbert orange that no one here has ever seen.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

There were second generation models that came out a couple years ago that were H/H. Here's a thread with a pic of a gunmetal blue...
