p1_uns40izlt_so.jpgjack86strat-hss-vintwhitepearl.jpgSWEET, i have a 1987 yellow Jackson with a 1986 build date made by Mike Eldred as well and just pulled the trigger on another Baby Blue similar to yours, Serial number 2550, all the tell tale signs of San Dimas like yours but only one vol and three mini toggles.

You got that right. The JT-6 is about the biggest pot metal piece of shit trem I've ever seen.

But ironically, I think the design of the JT-6 is excellent. They just made it with really poor quality.

I made the above post before reading yours. My thoughts exactly.

Real Players play the JT6 trem with pride. No excuses necessary.

In 100 years or so they'll be doing metallurgical analysis on them trying to determine the exact magical lost 1987 pot metal composition. Import Charvels from the 80's will exceed Stradivariuses in value.

I've got an 88 USA tele. I think the trem part of the JT-6 is fine. The locking nut sucks though. I've been thinking about putting string trees on mine to straighten out the strings at the headstock.
