  • Mike Learn GID Spidey Strat

Here is a project of mine that is coming along nicely. I snagged a 1987 black Jackson Strat off the bay a while back for cheap. It was in very good condition, but I thought I'd snazz it up a bit. I asked Mike to add an old school spiderweb graphic to the front...in Glow in the Dark paint!!! I didn't want a total refin, and Mike was able to add the graphic without sacrificing the Grover sig on the back (that did get cleared over nicely, though). Mike went above and beyond as far as getting everything nice and minty looking again. Thanks again Mike!

And here is the obligatory long exposure time money shot...

    Very sweet. Congrats.

I've always wanted a glow-in-the-dark finish but haven't found the right graphic to work with it. I'm glad you have.

Shouldn't there be a hot slut caught in the spider's web?

          Looks awesome.

I was just thinking how cool this guitar would look if the Jackson logo was done in GID paint.

Yeah, that thought occured to me lol. I didn't want to refin a minty looking vintage old school headstock though.

Why not? The end result will look as good as new.
