Belated NGD

I got this soloist some months ago but never gave it a proper introduction. I know the paint job was discussed and a little iffy. Yeah the claw is wierd and where are her nipples? But it has grown on me. It came with original hand tag and warranty card. It has aftermarket EMG pickups, w/ a JT-590. I'm not sure what the 3 mini-switches actually do but they seem to do something. I added the gold lock nuts, I think it works. Anyway here's J5021.

I don't know what to make of the graphic, but the colors on it look cool against the black background.

That's what I thought at first too but I think it may have been wired funny. :idea: I still need to figure out how it's wired and what kind of EMG's pickups are in them. I've never owned a guitar w/ EMG's before.

Wiring looks original.

Emgs or passives would have the same switch wiring. Each switch either "adds in" or "cuts out" each pickup. So with three switches, you can have 9 posibilities.

Keep her original! It's a unique one of a kind graphic..(even if it's not that coool graphic..) i would sell her instead refinishing...(if you ever sell..let me know...i like graphics..even the "strange" ones)
