Hello, all. I have a Charvel Model 4 that I bought new in 1987. I also have 8 other guitars that I've purchased over the years. None of them had the same "vibe" that the Charvel has. So I finally decided that I had to have a USA Soloist. I bought a Trans Black SL2H, and I wondered what took me so long. I love it so much, that one week later I got another SL2H in Trans Blue.
All my other guitars are now pissed at me, because they won't get played. Two of them are now relegated to hanging on my wall as "art"
. I do play in a band, and I used to have a hard time deciding which axes to bring to gigs. The decision is easy now (I usually bring three - one in standard tuning, one in drop D, and one as a backup). I have one Jackson in standard, one in drop D, and my EC1000 as a backup.
I'm now looking for a KV2. I may end up with a Kelly too, if I'm not careful.
Anyway, I'm very proud to finally be a member of the Jackson Club. I'll post some pictures in a day or so to show you my new babies (the black one is named Samuel L., and the blue one is named Reggie).
