I figured it out. Someone bought a USA SL1 at full retail, then tried to pass it off as a Japanese SL3.

Could be a pro/semi-pro job or it could be a shitty spray can deal, who knows. Hell, it could have even been ordered that way special from the Custom Shop.

BTW i had the final explanation : it was a bad refin.
Hopefully a good friend could could have a look to the axe for real at the shop and discovered the scam. The former owner painted in white over the black neck plate letting appear only the "jackson" logo (not very well also) and has covered all the rest, including the "made in usa" tag.
So i'm happy i did not take this shi*** thanks to the good advicesJackson SLAT-QH CSB
