Late 1990 USA Dinky in amber flames front and back. The body is solid maple, even the trem cavity is flamed maple! The original neck has a rosewood fingerboard and sharkfin inlays with no binding and a white Jackson logo. The seller sold it to me with that neck and a replacment neck, a 1990 USA Dinky neck with ebony board, sharks, and binding with MOP logo. Actually, the rosewood fingerboard neck plays and feels nicer to me. Originally had a Jackson J-80 in the bridge, some pics show a Duncan Custom which I added since I think it fits this guitar better. The Jackson J-100 single coil is great as is. Jackson/Schaller JT-590 is flawless. 3 way blade switch with a single volume that is a push/pull for tapping the Duncan. Killer axe, it's still amazing to me that you can get these for fair prices these days, a supreme guitar for sure. Take a look:

faaaaark! That is just about the perfect guitar. When you mentioned flame back and front I immediately assumed it was going to be a cherry burst or something. But scroll down and it's a gorgeous trans amber. Very hot!!Hail yesterday

That's awesome. I saw a maple dinky body in an ebay store for $250, the guy said it went with a 24 fret neck, but I was worried that it would really be a 22 fret neck and passed.
Where can you get these for a decent price?
I'd love to try an old Duncan Distortion in there ala Lynch to see how it sounds.
I know a Custom Custom would work great as well.

Yes, the original rosewood fingerboard neck had the tip of the headstock broken off, it was reglued, not a bad job at all. But it bothered the last owner so he got the replacement ebony fingerboard neck. But I prefer the original even though both are really nice. No warping at all, just a glued tip on the end of the headstock."Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."
