  • Oh man, Should I?

So during a little excursion of mine I have discovered that the local music store here in Toronto has a MINT Jackson SL2H in black with one tiny ding on the headstock tip for $1200.

    Should I buy it?

I already played it, it is a killer guitar. I already have three soloists though.

I don't really have the money but....

    $1200....
    I like EL34s.

Heh I totally understand how you feel. I would try to get the price a little lower for the heasdstock ding. But if it plays better than any of your other soloists, then trade it up for the store's soloist

To me that's a clear "no", unless you're going to sell something to pay for it.

I tend to agree... but it is so hard.... and I hate parting with any of my axes. Although I am looking into selling my Ibanez VBT700 because I am now a bassist in a band and I bought a Fender Mexi Jazz bass and want to upgrade the tuners (already upgraded the bridge) and get a delay pedal and a hardshell case.

I just scored this, literally, about 5 minutes ago. Just couldn't pass up the price.

There's lots of good deals around, so I wouldn't go nuts over a black SL2H for $1200 especially if you don't have any money. It's not like there won't be another...

For example, there's a amberburst SL1 for 900 on LA craigslist, there was a RR1T at GC for 900.

Sounds high for a basic used SL2H. $800.

Yeah, that is not what I'd call a screamin' deal or anything. :dunno:

That ain't a hot price by any means...

If you don't have the cash, well then...
