As a huge Michael Schenker fan I wanted to fulfill a dream of owning a MSG graphic V. Since I'm not a Gibson guy and prefer neckthrus what better basis than to use a Y2KV for the project since it's pretty obvious what Mustaine was trying to copy with his signature model. 
Huge thanks to Amfisound for a job done to perfection and also to Dave Wescott for providing the final touch with the custom truss rod cover. I couldn't be happier. And of course also big thanks to Brian who sold me his black Y2KV which now looks like this...
