Well I did it again.. And boy I'm Glad!!!

First. wasnt planning on getting this one.. But damn i love some Jacksons..

So i saw this one with the transblack and wanted a SL1 for some time.. Not a big fan of floyds so when i saw this hardtail beaut. i knew it was coming to my place...

Plays really damn good.. Friend of mine who is also a MUCH better player said of all the USA jacksons and all the Guitars i own this one is the best.. even over the custom shop Concorde V i bought a few weeks ago...

So i guess this Soloist was built on a wednesday or something..

Anyways.. here are a few quick shots.. and ill be changing all the hardware out to black..

I plan on posting all my jacksons soon.. Got a Kevin Bond a little while ago as well.. pretty pimp guitar..

Nice guit! I also have an SL1T in trans blue. I own quite a few nice guitars and the SL1T definitely ranks up there as one of the best. I really like that trans black color. I was kinda disappointed with the looks of my trans blue. It doesn't really look the same in person as it does in photos.

One mod I did to my SL1T: I changed out the tone pot for a push/pull pot, and I have it setup to split all of the pickups when pulled up. The Classic Stacks sound a heap better split. Of course the hum is there, but the sound is so much better.

THats an idea.. ive been thinkin about something to do tonal wise. theres just something about this one. sounds pretty good.. but anyways. here in the next month or two im gonna be on the hunt for a KE1T or KE2T.. would love to try to find that King Kelly. but havent seent one those for sale in years...
