I was going through my old hard drives with personal notes on selected guitars and this is what i have on RR0001:

Black Rhoads, built Q3 1983, first owner was Shibuya Enterprises, Inc. which is ESP Guitar Company. For copying purposes, i guess. Where is it today? Do any of you know more of its story?

I thought RR0001 was the one mistakenly sold at the NAMM show, which ended up being owned by that guy in California, as profiled in one of the guitar mags. Maybe that's a different one.

Since ESP has never produced a 'proper' Rhoads copy, and didn't even make anything like it until fairly recently, that ESP connection seems unlikely to me.
