  • I got a Custom Shop Jackson round Horn V dragon graphic

I just bought a '93 Jackson Custom shop flying V. Its got the rounded horn "gibson" style and it has the Black and White dragon graphic on it. It has a schaller floyd, factory EMG's, single volume and 3 way switch and its in mint condition. The guy i got it from said it was allegidly owned and played by Robbin Crosby, who knows??

    the serial is j5956

its just like the one in the 1993 jackson catalog but has factory EMG's

can someone tell me about it? value, who's owned it before me? how many they made?

    thanks!

Sounds like one I saw a few months back. Non recessed Floyd right? Without proof, someone saying 'Robbin' means nothing - he had one 'famous' b/w dragon roundhorn, and people are likely to take that reference for justifying a crazy price on any vaguely similar guitar. I bought a much later one 2 years or so ago, but mine has a recessed floyd and a screenprint dragon.

Prices are all over the place generally at the moment so that's difficult to call...

Highly doubt the Robbin connection, but that was an available factory graphic (which is nowhere near as cool as Robbin's original). Jackson roundhorns are kickass, though. Congrats!

I'm on my iPhone so I'll figure out how to get pics up.

It's a painted graphic, signed by drl '93. It's a non recess Floyd. Also, it's neck thru too.

I'll figure out pics right now

Yeah, that sounds familar. The seller wanted insane money for it, because of some 'inferred' Robbin connection...
