Don't play a Strat with the standard layout. You wanna talk about a close volume knob.....THAT is close.

Phantom Hawk puts a metal button in place of where the volume knob sits on his WR1's, so that does help. That said, I don't have this problem with my WR1's.

However, the volume knob is even closer to the bridge pickups on my Warrior Pro, making it more difficult to avoid turning the volume down.

Since we are bringing up minor niggles....

My King V has staggered tuners on a tilt back headstock...why? It makes stringing one of the strings very difficult, almost impossible in dim lighting. Makes no sense.

Otherwise, awesome guitar!
