        King Kelly
        Kelly
        Dinky Kelly

        Double Rhoads
        King V
        Queen V
whens the lastt ime they changed the kelly's size.. i was playing a 2010 kelly the other day and it felt smaller compared to my 08 kelly. is it just me or what?

And why not. Let the paying public see and hear the finest guitars I say. That's what they are made for.

Oh I play my Jacksons live all the time, a minimum of three different ones per show and most of the time four. I just haven't taken this particular one out yet.

I think it's just you. The last time it was downsized was in the early '90s for Marty Friedman, and that's the size we know today.

I don't know how tall you are but that King V looks like a toy in your hands so your photos kinda prove that "King V is for boys. DR is for men"

If only this post had come a few weeks earlier.....there'd still be an $800 RR1 on the market...sniff...sniff.

one leg of the V is shorter on one side.

Does anyone know a body fabricator that can do a DR body? I'm going to hit up Mitch at KNE and see if he might, but any other leads would rule. I have an orphaned USA neck looking for a project.

No. Both wings on each V are the same length. The Double Rhoads just has two longer wings than your modern-day King V.

A standard Rhoads' long wing is longer than that of the modern-day King V. If both wings are long like the long wing of the Rhoads, then you've got your Double Rhoads.
