  • Just some pics of my San Dimas Rhoads RR0875

Trying to catch up for lost time here on the forum. Here is my 1984 Jackson Rhoads:

I actually put it together in what I call a "Master of Puppets" guitar set, all those guitars are from 84 no reissues:

Very nice! I always had a soft spot for the black on black color scheme, almost more than the black and brass Rhoads.

If Metallica ever stops by your house they can run through a couple sets on your guitars.

That MOP set is cool.... Sweet axe!

if it was 24 fret i'd be all over it.

Yeah, that's a very cool one indeed Jason - as soon as I saw the first pic my brain shouted 'KIRK'

I really like the bridge on the Rhoads. I don't know why, but it just screams "Original" Rhoads bridge to me. NIce guitars!!!

For it to be the real deal MOP set you need to have a fake explorer with a gibson sticker on it.

Beauty Rhoads, it's interesting that they weren't using the taller beveled pick up ring for the bridge pickup. You can see how high that thing is cranked up. I guess thats another way you can tell it's a legit old one though. The TOM bridge is extra hot because you can tell the parts are all machined and not cast.
